Born to a family of musicians, Denis Goldfeld has been awarded the 1st prize at the
Russian National Violin Competition at the age of eleven. In 1990 he was invited to
the Musikhochschule Lübeck by Zakhar Bron as a master student. At this time, he
became the winner of such prestigious contests as the Wieniawsky International
Violin Competition, the Oistrakh International Violin Competition, the International
Music Competition in Bayreuth as well as many other laurels, including the Verbier
Festival Academy Prize awarded by Isaac Stern, which drew international attention
to the young violinist.
Denis Goldfeld collaborates with numerous outstanding artists – Gary Hoffman, Pavel
Gililov, Henri Sigfridsson, Nicolas Altstaedt, Sergei Nakariakov, Sofja Gülbadamova,
Lera Auerbach, Eldar Nebolsin, Cedric Tiberghien, Vassili Lobanov, Alexander Rudin,
David Geringas. He also performs in a duo with his brother, pianist Vadim Goldfeld.
Denis Goldfeld gives recitals in Europa, USA (Carnegie Weill Recital Hall), Japan,
Russia und Israel. He is a guest at major festivals, such as Schleswig-Holstein, Colmar,
Biarritz, Korsholm, Musiikkia Rouvessi, Musiksommer Tours, Rheingau, Dias da
Musica em Belem in Lisbon, Oberstdorfer Musiksommer, Brahms Festival in
Mürzzuschlag, Adam Chamber Music in New Zealand.

Violin Solo Vol. 1 will be released on the 5 September 2025.
Denis Goldfeld is a founder and artistic director of an International Music festival
Oberneuland in Bremen.
As a sought-after pedagogue, Denis Goldfeld gives master classes all over the world,
including such venues as International Summer academy Mozarteum in Salzburg. He
enjoys sharing his musical experience with young generation
