He has made numerous appearances in the United States in venues such as: Lincoln Center and Merkin Hall in New York, Kennedy Center in Washington, Herbst Theater in San Francisco, and more, as well as in Asia: Yokohama Festival in Japan, Seoul, and in Europe in Palermo, Rome, Venice, Lisbon, Helsinki, Liepaja, Madrid, Valencia, etc. He is regularly invited in Germany to the prestigious Husum Piano Festival, where he performs the most audacious programs. In Paris, he has been applauded by audiences at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre des Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es, the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Ch\u00e2telet, the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de la Ville, the Salle Gaveau and the Op\u00e9ra Garnier, as well as at numerous international festivals.\r\n\r\nHe has performed with the national orchestras of Lyon, Bordeaux, Besan\u00e7on, Toulouse, and the Orchestre d'Auvergne. His concerts are well-thought-out: commited to maintaining a historical awareness of the repertoire, he often leaves the beaten track and gives concerts that are both striking and accessible to all, rigorously applying a consistent ethic to the Liszt repertoire, as well as to impressionist music and post-romantic scores.\r\n\r\nThis singular approach to all areas of the piano repertoire, as well as his ardor for defending rare works and composers, makes him one of the most outstanding artists on the French and international scene. Denis Pascal's discography reflects his musical commitments. With the French label Polymnie, he has recorded the complete Hungarian Rhapsodies by Franz Liszt. These recordings have been unanimously celebrated by the musical press, including Choc du Monde de la Musique, the Prix de l'Association Fran\u00e7aise Franz Liszt, and Classica.\r\n\r\nHe recorded Ernest Chausson's concert for violin, string quartet, and piano, which was enthusiastically received by the critics. Shortly afterwards, Pascal collaborated with Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier Roth's orchestra Les Si\u00e8cles playing two Chopin concertos, which was also publicly well received. Among his recordings that have received enormous critical acclaim, his monographic disc devoted to Jean Wiener for Sisyphe, was awarded a Diapason d'Or.\r\n\r\nDenis Pascal was appointed professor at the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique de Lyon in January 2010 and at the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique de Paris in April 2011.
