In 2006, Anne Gastinel was awarded the\u00a0Victoire de la Musique\u00a0in the category of \u2018Soloist of the Year\u2019\u00a0and\u00a0\u2018Best Recording\u2019.\u00a0Her career now takes her to perform in the leading venues all over Europe, as well as Japan, China, South Africa, Brazil, Indonesia, Canada, and the United States. She has appeared with great masters such as Yehudi Menuhin, Mstislav Rostropovich, and Kurt Sanderling. During her travels she enjoys exchanging ideas and experiences with many distinguished musicians and composers, including Henri Dutilleux, Emmanuel Krivine, Josep Pons, Vladimir Spivakov, Pinchas Steinberg, Krzysztof Penderecki, Edmon Colomer, Michel Plasson, Yuri Bashmet, Tan Dun, and Michael Sch\u00f8nwandt. She also gives a generous place to friends of her own generation \u2013 Claire D\u00e9sert, \u00c9ric Tanguy, Justin Brown, Marianne Thorsen, Fran\u00e7ois-Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Guy, Louis Langr\u00e9e, Pedro Halffter, Philippe Cassard, David Grimal, Alain Altinoglu, Nelson Goerner, and many others. As a soloist, she regularly performs with the Orchestre National de France, Orchestre National de Lyon, Hr-Sinfonieorchester (Frankfurt), Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Li\u00e8ge, Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine, Orchestre Symphonique de Bretagne, among others.As a chamber musician, she plays with Claire D\u00e9sert, with whom she has recorded many albums (Poulenc, Franck, Schubert, Schumann\u2026), with the Quatuor Herm\u00e8s, Nicholas Angelich, Andreas Ottensamer, David Grimal and Philippe Cassard; Xavier Philipps and many other French cellists. For nearly 15 years, her recordings have received the highest distinctions. Her recording (Na\u00efve) dedicated to\u00a0 Beethoven\u2019s Triple Concerto with Nicholas Angelich, Gil Shaham, Paavo Jarvi and the Hr-Sinfonieorchester received the \u2018Choc\u2019 of Classica magazine. Since then, she has continued to explore the extensive cello repertoire with her accomplices.
