Praised by the international press for his distinctive sound, deep\u0002rooted, versatile, mature interpretation and exceptional technical skills, D. Goldfeld\u2018s\r\nperformances are distinguished by artistic independence and individuality.\r\nBorn to a family of musicians, Denis Goldfeld has been awarded the 1st prize at the\r\nRussian National Violin Competition at the age of eleven. In 1990 he was invited to\r\nthe Musikhochschule L\u00fcbeck by Zakhar Bron as a master student. At this time, he\r\nbecame the winner of such prestigious contests as the Wieniawsky International\r\nViolin Competition, the Oistrakh International Violin Competition, the International\r\nMusic Competition in Bayreuth as well as many other laurels, including the Verbier\r\nFestival Academy Prize awarded by Isaac Stern, which drew international attention\r\nto the young violinist.\r\nDenis Goldfeld collaborates with numerous outstanding artists - Gary Hoffman, Pavel\r\nGililov, Henri Sigfridsson, Nicolas Altstaedt, Sergei Nakariakov, Sofja G\u00fclbadamova,\r\nLera Auerbach, Eldar Nebolsin, Cedric Tiberghien, Vassili Lobanov, Alexander Rudin,\r\nDavid Geringas. He also performs in a duo with his brother, pianist Vadim Goldfeld.\r\nDenis Goldfeld gives recitals in Europa, USA (Carnegie Weill Recital Hall), Japan,\r\nRussia und Israel. He is a guest at major festivals, such as Schleswig-Holstein, Colmar,\r\nBiarritz, Korsholm, Musiikkia Rouvessi, Musiksommer Tours, Rheingau, Dias da\r\nMusica em Belem in Lisbon, Oberstdorfer Musiksommer, Brahms Festival in\r\nM\u00fcrzzuschlag, Adam Chamber Music in New Zealand.\r\nDenis Goldfeld appears as a soloist with such eminent orchestras as the Deutsches\r\nSymphonie-Orchester Berlin, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, the St. Petersburg\r\nSymphony Orchestra, the Moscow Soloists, the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra,\r\nHamburg Symphony Orchestra, the NDR Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, the Estonian\r\nNational Orchestra, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, the Helsinki Philharmonic\r\nOrchestra, the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine, the National Taiwan\r\nSymphony Orchestra, M\u00fcnich Chamber Orchestra, the MDR Symphony Orchestra,\r\nthe Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, Croatian Radio Symphony Orchestra, as well\r\nas Freiburg, L\u00fcbeck, W\u00fcrzburg, Tampere, Besan\u00e7on, Pamplona and Sarajevo\r\nPhilharmonic under the baton of Andrei Boreyko, Yuri Bashmet, Eivind Gullberg\r\nJensen, G\u00fcnther Herbig, Vassili Sinaiski, Alexander Dmitriev, Dmitry Lyss, Okko Kamu,\r\nChristoph Poppen, Lawrence Renes, Donald Runnicles, Lan Shui, Uro\u0161 Lajovic, Arnold\r\nKatz, Bruno Weil, Howard Griffiths, Enrico Calesso, Aleksandar Markovi\u0107, to name\r\njust a few.\r\nDenis Goldfeld has made recordings for Sony Classical, MCA Classic, Zig-Zag\r\nTerritoires and H\u00e4nssler Classic. His latest CD with Bach\u2019s Sonatas and Partitas for\r\nViolin Solo Vol. 1 will be released on the 5 September 2025.\r\nDenis Goldfeld is a founder and artistic director of an International Music festival\r\nOberneuland in Bremen.\r\nAs a sought-after pedagogue, Denis Goldfeld gives master classes all over the world,\r\nincluding such venues as International Summer academy Mozarteum in Salzburg.
