Le Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM) jouit d'une réputation mondiale indéniable. Les gens viennent du monde entier pour participer. Depuis sa création en 2001, quelque 3 500 jeunes musiciens venus de plus de 90 pays et formés dans les meilleures écoles mondiales se sont inscrits au CMIM pour se mesurer à l'élite internationale montante.
